🧾 Role Summary

As a Wastewater Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) to meet regulatory, corporate, and environmental compliance standards. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, laboratory testing, and close communication with production and supervision teams.

✅ Key Duties & Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facility
Collect wastewater samples and monitor process indicators such as:
- pH
- Conductivity
- Turbidity
- Dissolved oxygen
- Temperature
Operate WWTP equipment including pumps, blowers, mixers, and aerators
Make process adjustments to ensure discharge compliance
Interpret lab results and perform visual inspections
Communicate process and equipment changes to WWTP leadership
Perform daily laboratory testing and instrument calibration
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, weld, and rebuild mechanical equipment
Maintain WWTP buildings and surrounding grounds
Perform additional duties as assigned

This position requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail.
