Job Overview
This part-time retail store position is located at 6542 Logan Square, New Hope, PA 18938. Team members play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high product quality, and supporting daily store operations. The role also includes learning barista responsibilities and following Starbucks standards where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Team members are responsible for welcoming and connecting with customers, recommending products, and assisting with purchases to enhance the shopping experience. The role involves preparing and serving high-quality products, following food safety and handling standards, and maintaining clean, well-organized work areas. Employees also support store profitability by following proper cash handling procedures, inventory guidelines, and merchandising standards. Barista team members are expected to take initiative in learning product knowledge and company standards beyond basic training.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous barista or supervisory experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification and meet attendance and performance expectations. Strong customer service skills, good communication, and a customer-focused attitude are essential. A food handling certificate is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Schedule
The position requires flexibility, with shifts of at least 4 hours depending on business needs. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and spend most of the shift standing or walking in an active retail environment.
