The Guest Service Agent acts as the face of the hotel, ensuring guests receive outstanding service from check-in to check-out. This position involves operating the front desk, handling reservations, processing payments, managing guest requests, and resolving concerns efficiently and professionally.

✅ Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operate the front desk according to standard hotel procedures
Check guests in and out efficiently using reservation and POS systems
Process credit card transactions accurately and securely
Maintain balanced cash drawers and accurate cash sheets
Answer phone calls within three (3) rings using scripted greetings
Take and deliver guest messages accurately, noting date and time
Operate the switchboard and manage internal and external calls
Never announce guest room numbers aloud to ensure privacy
Maintain knowledge of room rates, hotel promotions, and amenities
Assist guests with local information such as shopping, gas stations, and convenience stores
Prepare room status reports and coordinate with housekeeping
Set wake-up calls and manage reservation confirmations
Create incident reports when guest issues or injuries occur
Keep the lobby and front office clean and organized at all times
Resolve guest complaints in a calm and professional manner
Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures

This role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
