The Guest Service Agent acts as the face of the hotel, ensuring guests receive outstanding service from check-in to check-out.   • Operate the front desk according to standard hotel procedures

  • Maintain balanced cash drawers and accurate cash sheets

  • Answer phone calls within three (3) rings using scripted greetings

  • Take and deliver guest messages accurately, noting date and time

  • Operate the switchboard and manage internal and external calls

  • Never announce guest room numbers aloud to ensure privacy

  • Maintain knowledge of room rates, hotel promotions, and amenities

  • Assist guests with local information such as shopping, gas stations, and convenience stores

  • Prepare room status reports and coordinate with housekeeping

  • Set wake-up calls and manage reservation confirmations

  • Create incident reports when guest issues or injuries occur

  • Keep the lobby and front office clean and organized at all times

  • Resolve guest complaints in a calm and professional manner

  • Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures
