🔧 Job Summary

As a Packager Operator, you’ll be responsible for packaging and performing quality assurance checks on powder or cheese products. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that every product meets Glanbia’s high standards for safety, quality, and consistency.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Package powder or cheese, seal bags, and stack products on pallets.
Verify correct weight in bags or boxes.
Pull product samples for laboratory testing.
Monitor cheese and bin levels to prevent overflow.
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport products.
Record production numbers and maintain accurate logs.
Conduct metal detector sensitivity checks.
Clean packaging rooms and restock supplies.
Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory guidelines (OSHA, FDA, SQF).

🎯 Qualifications

To succeed as a Packager Operator, you should have:

Ability to read numbers and perform basic math (addition and subtraction).
Strong safety, attendance, and punctuality record.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
English reading and writing skills for instructions.
