As a Security Manager, you will oversee the daily safety and security operations of the hotel. From developing and enforcing security protocols to leading emergency responses, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the property secure. 👥 Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

People & Leadership

Supervise daily activities of the security team and set performance goals.
Mentor, coach, and provide leadership training to senior security staff.
Build strong communication across all hotel departments.
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and vigilance.

Guest Experience

Ensure the safety of guests while upholding IHG’s service promise.
Patrol boundary areas, public spaces, guest rooms, and event facilities.
Respond quickly to emergencies and provide first aid when required.
Investigate and document all security incidents.
Liaise with guests, local authorities, and community leaders.

Financial & Operational Control

Manage departmental budgets and minimize payroll costs.
Supervise valet parking and outsourcing costs.
Compile and distribute regular security reports.

Responsible Business Practices

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) standards.
Oversee fire safety equipment inspections and emergency preparedness.
Lead the Risk Management program and Emergency Response Team.
Coordinate with local investigators for accidents or crimes.
Support inspections by local authorities related to fire, safety, and security.

🎓 What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Security, Criminal Justice, or related field).
Experience: 3+ years in security activities, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Hotel security experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Crisis management and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent math, reasoning, and reporting skills.
- Calm under pressure and proactive in risk management.
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent walking/standing, and emergency response readiness (First Aid/CPR/Lifeguard skills).
