Job Overview

As a CDL-A Truck Driver at Univar Solutions, you will:

Safely operate company tractor/trailer/tanker equipment
Transport hazardous materials and waste in full compliance with DOT regulations
Inspect vehicles before and after trips for safe operating conditions
Pick up and deliver hazardous loads for customers
Use Samsara e-Logging devices for routing and compliance
Capture delivery receipts and shipment documents via ePOD system
Perform all required duties to ensure customer satisfaction and safe deliveries

This role involves climbing, lifting, bending, and operating equipment, making it a great fit for drivers who are safety-focused and physically capable.

Qualifications Needed

To qualify, candidates must have:

Valid Class A CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements
At least 2 years of CDL-A driving experience
Experience transporting bulk hazardous materials
Knowledge of Samsara or equivalent ELD systems
Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
Physical strength to lift up to 100 lbs and handle drums up to 800 lbs with a dolly
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
DOT physical qualification compliance
