Key Responsibilities

As an Online English Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging IGCSE English lessons tailored to a remote learning environment
Assess student progress using regular testing, homework assignments, and formative assessments
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space
Adapt lessons for multilingual learners and students from diverse cultural backgrounds

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for candidates who possess:

Bachelor’s degree (required)
Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE English and A-levels is desirable
Additional qualifications like CELTA or DELTA are a plus
Experience using digital learning platforms like Moodle, Canvas, and productivity tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
Strong organisational skills, digital fluency, and the ability to deliver well-structured, engaging online lessons
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
