We’re seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our team and play a key role in managing legal activities, supporting senior counsel, and helping improve processes that impact patient care. This work-from-home position requires you to live within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare hospital in select states.

About the Role

As a Paralegal, you’ll provide legal and operational support to the Shared Service Center (SSC) Senior Counsel and Executive Management. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of legal processes, contract management, dispute resolution, and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with SSC Senior Counsel to coordinate policies, procedures, and special projects.
Review contracts, draft demand letters, and assist with legal disputes.
Collaborate with HCA Strategic Pricing to resolve claim payments and escalations.
Track legal collection activities and generate monthly reports using the Legal Review Tool.
Oversee hospital lien processes and ensure proper documentation for court recording.
Conduct legal research and prepare litigation support materials.
Assist with staff training, patient complaints, and special projects related to third-party issues.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate has:

Paralegal certification or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (state-compliant alternatives accepted).
Minimum of two years’ experience in legal, collections, or healthcare environments.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Comfort working remotely while collaborating with a large, distributed team.
