Job Summary

As a Yard Worker, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that client orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for handling materials, operating forklifts, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately process picking, transfers, and sales orders
Load flatbed trailers with pipe and skids (training provided, meets MTO standards)
Perform daily safety pre-inspections of propane counterbalance forklifts
Maintain high productivity and quality standards
Keep the yard clean and organized at all times
Report safety or security issues to your supervisor immediately
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Use RF equipment and remote printers to manage stock
Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of forklift experience (Counterbalance required)
Minimum 2 years of yard or warehouse distribution experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple priorities under minimal supervision
Effective communication skills with team members
Proper certifications for operating machinery (Counterbalance)
