📌 About the Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations in the maintenance department to ensure smooth functioning of warehouse equipment and compliance with safety standards. You’ll be responsible for leading teams, managing workloads, and delivering results that support Walmart’s logistics and distribution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with associates, suppliers, and leadership teams
Implement business plans by assigning duties, scheduling staff, and coordinating workloads
Monitor productivity and analyze reports to meet facility goals in safety, quality, and output
Maintain equipment such as material handling systems, refrigeration units, pneumatic systems, and building infrastructure
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, DOT, NFPA, Hazardous Waste, etc.)
Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and leaders through coaching, training, and evaluation
Track expenses, capital expenditures, and manage budgets effectively
Drive continuous improvements and encourage adoption of new technologies

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.

🎓 Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s Degree in an industrial field + 1 year supervisory experience OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR
1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance environment OR
2 years Walmart Logistics maintenance experience (with at least 6 months of team leadership) OR
2 years supervisory experience in an industrial environment

Preferred Skills:

Compliance and regulatory knowledge
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience in logistics and general maintenance
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Logistics (preferred but not required)
