About the Role – Packaging General Laborer

As a Packaging General Laborer, you’ll work under the guidance of the Packaging Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality, safety, and packaging standards.

This position involves operating packaging equipment, cleaning machinery, inspecting finished goods, and making sure every product is packed accurately for storage and shipment.

Key Responsibilities

Weigh and inspect completed products to meet specifications
Sort and prepare materials for packaging, storage, and shipment
Operate, monitor, and clean packaging equipment
Detect and clear equipment jams, reporting any issues promptly
Package and stack finished products for shipment
Ensure packaging containers are correctly filled and secured
Maintain cleanliness of the packaging area, following safety and GMP protocols
Assist with setup and dismantling of packaging equipment
Perform other duties as required to support production and packaging teams

Requirements

High school diploma (preferred)
3–6 months’ experience in a food manufacturing facility
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and balance for long hours (up to 10 hours per shift)
Physical strength to push, pull, and lift up to 25kg (55 pounds)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow safety, operational, and maintenance procedures
Dependable and detail-oriented mindset
