As a Laundry Worker at The Miriam Hospital, you’ll:

Operate washers and dryers safely and efficiently.

Pick up soiled linens from hospital units and deliver clean linens.

Fold linens and manage the Scrub-Avail System.

Stock linen carts and distribute them to departments.

Organize laundry storage areas daily.

Maintain linen par levels across the hospital.

Keep the laundry area clean and safe.

Perform additional tasks as needed to support hospital operations.
📌 Requirements

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Language: Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Experience: Training provided – up to two months to become proficient.

Physical: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Skills: Effective communication, attention to detail, teamwork.
