As a Housekeeping Aid (Leader), you’ll do more than just clean—you’ll lead a team that helps maintain a safe, sanitary, and healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position works under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor and ensures that cleaning operations across the medical center run smoothly.

Your leadership ensures that outpatient clinics, operating rooms, laboratories, patient areas, offices, and public spaces remain safe, clean, and welcoming.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of 3 or more employees in performing daily housekeeping tasks.
Communicate assignments from the supervisor and verify that work is completed on time.
Train and guide employees on the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Perform a full range of housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, scrubbing floors, cleaning patient rooms, offices, stairwells, and restrooms.
Assist with textile distribution, inventory management, and setup for meetings or events.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and report progress to the supervisor.
Provide on-the-job training and recommend additional training when needed.

📋 Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
No specific education requirements—experience is key.
Must demonstrate skills in leadership, following instructions, safe work practices, and proper use of tools and equipment.
Physical ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a healthcare setting with potential exposure to cleaning solutions, bodily fluids, and patients.
Pre-employment physical required.
