🚛 Job Summary

As a Yard Mule Truck Operator, you’ll play a critical role in the movement of freight within the facility. From repositioning trailers to supporting production schedules, you’ll ensure smooth and efficient yard operations. 🔑 Key Responsibilities

Safely inspect, move, and position trailers including dry vans, flatbeds, ISO containers, and tankers.
Operate Yard Mule equipment to maneuver trailers between production zones and outbound staging areas.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo, securing loads as required.
Perform daily mechanical and safety checks of Yard Mule equipment (brakes, lights, tires, and fluids).
Couple/uncouple trailers, connect/disconnect air lines, and ensure secure positioning.
Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and safety inspections.
Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Follow all facility safety policies, DOT regulations, and environmental standards.

🏆 Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 years of verifiable Yard Mule or tractor-trailer experience in a logistics/yard environment.
Ability to complete on-the-job training within 60 days.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
Must pass a DOT physical and screening process.
Physically fit to handle climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, kneeling, and long hours of vehicle operation.
