🧹 Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

Clean and disinfect occupied and unoccupied patient rooms, restrooms, offices, corridors, lobbies, elevators, and waiting areas.
Safely dispose of trash, red bag waste, and needle boxes.
Maintain paper supplies, including towels and tissue, in assigned areas.
Follow hospital cleaning protocols, universal protection standards, and safety procedures.
Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as windows, drapery, stairwells, and furniture.
Assist with infection control by handling biohazard waste properly and using germination equipment in isolation rooms.
Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns promptly.

Your role will directly impact the health and well-being of every person who enters MMH facilities.

✅ Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: No prior experience necessary – we will train you!
Skills Needed:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed checklists and procedures

💪 Physical Requirements

Frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
