🎯 Responsibilities

As a Food Processing Worker, you’ll play an important role in ensuring food safety, quality, and efficiency within the plant. Duties include:

Applying food safety and handling skills throughout production.
Transporting raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
Removing filled containers from conveyors.
Packing goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
Feeding and unloading processing machines.
Checking products and packaging for basic quality defects.
Cleaning machines and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.
Deboning meat as required.

🏋️ Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is hands-on and requires working in a cold/refrigerated environment within a food and meat processing facility. You should be comfortable with:

Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
Handling loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Maintaining hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity in a fast-paced setting.

✅ Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED (required).
Experience: 1–2 years in food safety, food handling, or meat processing preferred.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail are highly valued.
Bilingual ability in English and French is a strong asset.
