What You’ll Do as Event Support Staff

As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth event operations. Responsibilities include:

Greeting and checking in guests at concerts and special events.
ID verification and assisting with beverage service (alcoholic & non-alcoholic).
Running event stands and handling POS transactions.
Answering guest questions with patience, professionalism, and great communication.
Providing knowledge about park amenities, events, and safety rules.
Helping with set-up, clean-up, and other event-related tasks.
Acting as a friendly ambassador for The Forge by promoting outdoor fun and community.

This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Job Details

Pay: $15/hour
Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal (through October; resumes in 2026)
Shifts: Nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Location: Lemont, Illinois (227 Heritage Quarries Drive)

What We’re Looking For

Must be 21+ years old.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Prior experience serving beverages in events or hospitality preferred (but not required).
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Comfortable with physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
IL BASSET certification preferred.
