Electrician II Job Opportunity at Consarc Corporation – Rancocas, NJ

About the Role

As an Electrician II, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and wiring electrical equipment such as control panels, cabinets, junction boxes, and system wiring. You’ll work independently with wiring plans and follow established methods to ensure safe, precise, and reliable assembly.

This role is best suited for detail-oriented professionals with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Connect and disconnect electric-powered machines.
Assemble and solder product parts and sub-assemblies following instructions.
Dress wires, follow color codes, solder connections, and perform quality checks.
Install wireways, bend/run conduit, and cut cabinet holes for devices.
Ensure compliance with OHM’s Law, NEC codes, and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
Occasionally operate overhead/jib cranes, forklifts, and other lift machinery.

Required Qualifications

Education: High school diploma (trade training a plus).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and symbols.
Must have personal hand tools.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.

Preferred Skills

Experience with overhead cranes and lift machinery (forklift, boom lift, scissor lift).
Stick welding skills.
Familiarity with high-noise, manufacturing environments.

Physical Requirements

Standing/walking for 8–10 hours daily.
Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds.
Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs/ladders.
Work in moderate to loud manufacturing environments (with ear protection provided).
Exposure to dust, heat hazards, and electrical/mechanical equipment.
