Drupal Developer Job at CTAC – Full-Time (LAMP Stack & Performance Tuning)

CTAC is hiring an experienced Drupal Developer to support enterprise-level web applications for a government client. This full-time opportunity is ideal for developers with strong expertise in Drupal module development, performance tuning, and the LAMP stack, who enjoy working in a collaborative, Agile-driven environment.

Role Overview

As a Drupal Developer at CTAC, you will work closely with a team of developers, project managers, and scrum masters to design, develop, and deploy secure, high-performance Drupal solutions. The role involves both building new custom modules and enhancing existing Drupal modules and themes to meet client requirements.

You will participate in daily scrum meetings and work within a 2-week SCRUM sprint cycle, contributing to the successful delivery of government-focused web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Support the full Drupal lifecycle, including installation, configuration, and data migration
Develop and modify custom Drupal modules and themes
Perform performance tuning to ensure scalability and reliability
Implement application security best practices
Work across front-end, middle-tier, and back-end Drupal components
Collaborate with team members during daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Deploy Drupal solutions for government clients

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Drupal development
Strong knowledge of Drupal internals, module development, and theme development
Proven experience with performance tuning and security
Solid understanding of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
Experience with Linux/Unix environments
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript

CSS / LESS / SASS
Caching and content delivery solutions

Clearance & Work Environment

Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance is required
