Key Responsibilities
As a Scrum Master at CORMAC, your responsibilities will span facilitation, coaching, and project management:

Lead Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Facilitate Program Increments (PI) planning, risk identification and mitigation (ROAMing risks), and Inspect & Adapt workshops.

Remove impediments and resolve systemic issues affecting delivery, productivity, and team morale.

Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure effective backlog management and delivery alignment.

Track and report key metrics such as team velocity, burn-down/burn-up charts, and team health indicators.

Coach teams and promote organizational Agile maturity, helping evolve frameworks based on team needs.

Facilitate cross-team coordination, ensuring alignment on shared goals, dependencies, and risk mitigation.

Promote accountability, transparency, innovation, and high performance across all teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
CORMAC seeks professionals with a strong combination of Agile expertise, facilitation skills, and leadership experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: 5+ years as a Scrum Master, with experience guiding multiple teams in Agile practices.

Technical & Analytical Skills: Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint, and ability to work with teams across the software development lifecycle.

Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills, with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications (Preferred): Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master.

Other Requirements: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder, self-starter, detail-oriented, and strong organizational abilities.
