Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Greet every customer with a warm smile and courteous welcome

Store Operations

Operate the station efficiently according to company policies
Prepare and complete shift reports accurately
Communicate operational updates with management promptly
Support store profitability and daily performance

Safety & Cleanliness

Maintain a clean, safe, and secure store environment
Follow all safety, health, and hazardous material (Hazmat) regulations
Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns immediately
Operate equipment safely and correctly
Complete required safety training and orientation

Required Skills & Qualifications

Retail math and basic arithmetic skills
Ability to handle hazardous materials safely
Experience or comfort with outdoor work
Strong attention to cleanliness and workspace maintenance
Ability to read, write, and understand English at an eighth-grade level
Middle school education or equivalent
Ability to validate identification for tobacco and/or alcohol sales

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
Tolerance for gasoline fumes and cleaning products
Ability to work in various temperatures (outdoors, coolers, and store areas)
Prolonged periods of standing and occasional sitting
Ability to move throughout all areas of the store
