Education & Experience

Key Responsibilities

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all restaurant operations, including:

  • Analyzing and developing budgets to maximize restaurant profitability

  • Determining food, ingredient, alcohol, and supply costs

  • Monitoring daily operations and staff performance

  • Adjusting menu pricing and food preparation methods based on budget analysis

  • Monitoring revenues and controlling labour costs

  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff (5–10 employees)

  • Conducting performance reviews and enforcing workplace standards

  • Balancing cash, preparing reports, and maintaining financial records

  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations

  • Managing inventory and negotiating with suppliers

  • Handling customer complaints and delivering excellent customer service

  • Participating in marketing initiatives and managing special events

  • Negotiating catering services or facility usage with clients
