What We’re Looking For
Technical Writing Expertise:
You should have a proven ability to create user manuals, technical guides, release notes, online help systems, and other documentation that communicates complex information in a simple, clear way.
Collaboration Skills:
You’ll work closely with software developers, engineers, and product managers to gather the information needed to produce high-quality documentation tailored to diverse audiences.
Documentation Tools Proficiency:
Experience with tools like MS Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Confluence, or similar is highly valuable.
Understanding Technical Concepts:
Familiarity with web development, software engineering, and cloud systems is preferred. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Markdown is a plus.
Federal Experience:
While prior experience with U.S. Federal projects is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Security Clearance:
Having—or being eligible for—a U.S. Federal security clearance is preferred.
