Patient Transporters play a critical role in ensuring patients move safely and comfortably throughout the hospital for examinations, procedures, and discharge.

Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Transporter at Corewell Health, your daily duties will focus on patient safety, comfort, and timely care delivery.

Patient Transportation

  • Safely transport patients between inpatient, outpatient, emergency, ICU, and testing areas.

  • Assist patients in and out of wheelchairs, gurneys, movable beds, and vehicles.

  • Perform active and passive patient identification before transport.

  • BLS Certification
