Key Responsibilities

As a CDL-A Delivery Driver at McLane, you will:

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor-trailers
Complete and submit DOT inspection reports
Review bills of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries
Safely operate tractor-trailers in compliance with DOT regulations
Maintain accurate driver logs (manual or Peoplenet)
Document delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions
Unload trailers and deliver products into customer premises
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify, you must have:

Minimum 21 years of age
Valid Class A CDL
At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer experience
Clean driving record meeting McLane MVR and risk standards
Ability to understand and communicate in English for safety and compliance
