Job Overview

Role: Online Assistant
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Shift Premium: +£2.45 per hour for night hours (midnight–5am where applicable)
Hours: Part-time, 12 hours/week
- Thursday: 04:00–08:00
- Friday: 04:00–08:00
- Saturday: 04:00–08:00
Contract: Permanent
Location: Monks Cross Store, York YO32 9LG

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day tasks include:

⭐ Picking and Packing Orders

Carefully selecting the best products from the shop floor based on customers’ online orders.

⭐ Using Smart Digital Tools

You’ll be given a handset that shows the optimal route, products needed, and time allocated for each order.

⭐ Supporting Home Delivery Operations

Handling queries, processing orders, and helping load delivery vans.

⭐ Providing Outstanding Customer Service

Whether assisting on the floor or offering product recommendations, you’ll ensure customers feel valued.

⭐ Working Flexibly Across the Store

You’ll be trained in various areas, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
