📝 Role Summary: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Middle School Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Middle School Pastor to help prepare and facilitate weekend services designed specifically for middle schoolers. It’s a mix of coordination, communication, relationship building, and hands-on ministry support.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

👋 1. Volunteer & Guest Services Support — 30%

  • Helping schedule volunteers

  • Communicating shifts and updates to the Guest Services team

  • Greeting students and parents

  • Managing check-ins and creating a safe, welcoming environment

📩 2. First-Time Guest Follow-Up — 25%

  • Handling admin tasks

  • Ensuring new families feel seen, welcomed, and connected

👥 3. Supporting Small Group Leaders — 10%

  • Assisting leaders during gatherings

  • Leading a small group when needed

🗣 4. Student Guidance & Encouragement — 10%

  • Encouraging positive behavior and maintaining a Christ-centered atmosphere

🌱 5. Ministry Support & Student Growth — 10%

  • Helping with ministry goals

  • Coordinating with students and families
