📚 What You’ll Do as a Part-Time Librarian

Your responsibilities may include:

✔ Assisting the Public

  • Helping community members find information and library resources

  • Providing basic technology support (computers, printers, devices)

  • Offering exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone

  • Conducting outreach to individuals who cannot visit the library

✔ Supporting Library Operations

  • Assisting with circulation, interlibrary loan, youth/teen services, and community programs

  • Selecting and deselecting items for collection development

  • Using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other software

  • Occasionally serving as staff in charge when full-time employees are absent
