Job Overview

Position: Full-Time Security Officer
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

As a Security Officer, you’ll play an essential role in creating a calm, safe, and secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors at a local corporate site.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

Monitor entrances, exits, and on-site activity
Greet and assist employees and visitors professionally
Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols
Monitor CCTV and access control systems
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or incidents
Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
Secure restricted areas, doors, and gates
Enforce site rules and company policies
Support emergency response when needed
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring:

A high school diploma or GED (required)
Prior security experience (preferred but not required—paid training is provided)
Strong communication and observation skills
Dependability, punctuality, and professionalism
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
