Job Overview – Part-Time Bookkeeper

As a Bookkeeper at USA SM, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the smooth handling of all accounting-related tasks. This position is part-time and offers competitive pay of $20–$35 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage monthly book closure and prepare financial statements
Create weekly Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) reports
Handle bill payments and ensure timely processing
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain transaction accuracy
Assist with sales tax filing and compliance
Record journal entries and maintain proper documentation
Work independently while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping tasks

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

3+ years of bookkeeping experience (required)
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com
Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
Accuracy in handling numbers and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
