Starting Salary: From $52,008 per year

🛠 Job Summary

As a Heap Leach Operator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our leach pad systems. Working as part of a dedicated crew, you’ll ensure smooth operations by irrigating leach pads, operating equipment, and troubleshooting issues—all while following the highest safety and environmental standards.

📋 Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Work safely and respectfully in all operations
Follow directions from supervisors and lead operators
Conduct inspections and report unsafe conditions
Perform leach pad irrigation using pipelines and drip emitters
Operate mobile equipment such as ATVs, dozers, telehandlers, and trucks
Use power tools (wrenches, drills, chainsaws, pipe fusers) safely
Monitor solution flow with pressure gauges and flowmeters
Troubleshoot upset conditions and maintain process targets
Assist with additional tasks as needed

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience: 6 months – 1 year in an industrial or mining environment preferred (but training is provided)
Ability to communicate effectively in English (written & verbal)
Strong commitment to teamwork, dependability, and safety
