🌱 Key Responsibilities

As a farm worker, you’ll play an important role in the success of the harvest season and daily farm operations. Your tasks will include:

Hand-harvesting vegetables, row crops, and orchard crops
Harvesting specialty crops such as mushrooms
Operating basic farm equipment like fruit and vegetable harvesters
Loading, unloading, and transferring farm produce, crates, supplies, and livestock
Supporting day-to-day farm maintenance tasks

🛠 Work Environment

This role offers hands-on work in an outdoor and agricultural setting. Workers should be prepared for conditions such as:

At heights, wet/damp environments, odours, and dusty areas
Fast-paced and physically demanding tasks
Repetitive work that requires strong hand-eye coordination
Standing for long hours, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

No degree, certificate, or diploma required (training provided)
Experience in farming is an asset, but not mandatory
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
Steel-toed safety boots required
Criminal record check may be required
Must have own transportation to and from the worksite
