Role Overview

As a Health Training Specialist, you will deliver evidence-based health coaching programs to patients in a virtual group setting. Working under a supervisor, you’ll lead the Diabetes Prevention Program and the Living Well with Diabetes Self-Management Program, helping participants build sustainable lifestyle habits.

This per diem role is remote and primarily involves evening classes (5–9 PM) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays. Daytime availability is required during onboarding and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured health education and coaching programs in virtual group formats

  • Facilitate both small and large group sessions with confidence and clarity

  • Support participants with nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle behavior changes
