HR People Partner Job at EIS Group – Full-Time (US & Canada)

EIS Group, a global leader in insurance technology, is hiring an experienced HR People Partner to support employees across the United States and Canada. This full-time role is ideal for HR professionals who enjoy combining strategic people initiatives with hands-on HR operations in a fast-paced, remote, and international environment.

About the Role

As an HR People Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to both employees and managers, delivering end-to-end employee lifecycle support while ensuring full compliance with US and Canadian employment laws. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive employee experience and supporting business growth through effective HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations and manager support
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, exit interviews, background checks, I-9, and E-Verify processes
Process promotions, bonuses, contract extensions, and employment verification letters
Maintain accurate HR records using BambooHR and internal systems
Update and manage US and Canadian employee handbooks in line with labor laws
Manage immigration cases with legal partners to support employee mobility
Partner with Recruiting, Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, and Accounting teams
Support employee engagement initiatives, office events, and HR projects

Skills & Experience Required

Strong knowledge of US and Canadian employment laws and HR compliance
Hands-on experience managing the full employee lifecycle
Proficiency with HRIS and ATS tools such as BambooHR, Checkr, Pinpoint, or JIRA
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote and international environment
3–4 years of experience as an HR People Partner or HR Generalist
Tech industry experience is preferred
