Why This Role is Unique

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you won’t just sell—you’ll shape the cybersecurity strategy of your clients. You will:

  • Own territory sales, focusing on acquiring net-new logos and expanding market share.

  • Develop strategic sales plans to maximize revenue growth and exceed targets.

  • Engage with C-level executives and security professionals to present Darktrace’s solutions.

  • Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals.

  • Identify upsell opportunities and expand account relationships to maximize customer lifetime value.

  • Collaborate with technical teams, including Subject Matter Experts and Cyber Threat Analysts, to deliver tailored demonstrations and Proof of Values (POVs).

Key Qualifications

Darktrace is looking for candidates who are self-starters, results-driven, and skilled at building lasting relationships. Ideal candidates will have:

  • 3+ years of outbound B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.

  • Experience selling complex software solutions, preferably in cybersecurity or regulated industries.

  • Strong skills in sales pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and territory planning.

  • Ability to drive high-velocity sales cycles, handle objections, and close independently.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage executive stakeholders.

  • Experience with CRM and sales tools, and ideally selling through channel partners.
