🍽 Job Overview: Host / Hostess

As a Host or Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a vital role in setting the tone for their entire dining experience.

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay Rate: Minimum $23/hour + Tips

Reports To: Floor Manager / General Manager

✅ Key Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and warmly with genuine hospitality
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating using digital systems
Escort guests to tables and provide menus with grace and professionalism
Answer phone calls and handle reservation inquiries efficiently
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth dining operations
Monitor dining room capacity and provide accurate wait-time estimates
Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and entrance areas

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Previous host or guest service experience (upscale or high-volume preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
