Role Overview
As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, you will support pharmacists in preparing and delivering prescription medications while building strong relationships with patients in the community. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain professional relationships with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and medical staff

Assist customers and patients with a friendly and helpful attitude

Prepare prescription labels and calculate medication quantities

Organize medications for pharmacist dispensing

Ensure medication availability by ordering and delivering medications as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment

Support best practices, including compliance with 340B pharmacy guidelines

Contribute to team goals and assist with additional tasks as required
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

State pharmacy technician registration (if applicable)

PTCB Certification (preferred)

At least 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience (preferred)

Ability to adapt to changing pharmacy demands

Vendor credentialing may be required
