💼 A Day in the Life of a Welder

As a Welder at Spartan ER, your role is hands-on and vital to the production process.

You will:

Perform MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on aluminum and stainless steel.
Set up, maintain, and adjust welding machines and equipment.
Weld in multiple positions: vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
Inspect welds for quality—checking for cracks, burn-through, or spatter.
Grind, clean, and prepare surfaces as needed.
Follow all safety, fire prevention, and hazardous waste procedures.

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 1+ year in a manufacturing or welding environment.
Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and perform shop math.
Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding machines.
Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs and work in non-temperature-controlled environments.
