Job Overview

This carpenter role provides the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from constructing foundations and walls to installing windows, doors, and stairs. Key Responsibilities

As a carpenter, your day-to-day tasks will include:

Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
Preparing layouts in line with building codes.
Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials.
Building foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems.
Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
Supervising 1–2 workers on-site when required.
Estimating costs and materials for projects.
Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings such as mills, hospitals, industrial plants, and more.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you should have:

Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or GED.
Experience: 1–2 years of carpentry experience.
Language: English proficiency (oral communication skills are essential).
