💼 Position Overview

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays as needed
Location: Farm-based environment (varied)

🌟 What You’ll Do

As a Farm Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in daily farm operations, ensuring animal health, safety, and biosecurity standards are met. Some of your responsibilities will include:

Following strict safety and biosecurity protocols
Assisting with feeding, vaccinating, and caring for animals
Loading, unloading, and moving livestock (including animals 600+ lbs.)
Practicing correct handling, sanitation, and euthanasia procedures as required
Maintaining equipment and reporting any issues to supervisors
Performing general farm upkeep such as power washing, housekeeping, and light maintenance
Participating in mandatory training sessions and improvement programs

This is a physically demanding role, requiring lifting, climbing, squatting, and standing for long hours in all weather conditions.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly and push/pull up to 500 lbs.
Willingness to work in challenging conditions (heat, cold, mud, odors, dust, and noise)
Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic
Comfort working weekends and holidays as needed
No ownership or contact with swine outside of work (biosecurity requirement)
