💼 Position: Waste Labourer – Kitimat, BC

Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Rotating shifts with overtime opportunities (50–60 hours per week)
Location: Kitimat, BC (Local candidates required)

As a Waste Labourer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe, clean, and efficient work sites while supporting the team in day-to-day operations.

🔧 A Day in the Life

Your responsibilities will include:

Safely repacking and bulking waste for transport and disposal
Handling lab packing of chemicals and assisting with waste sampling
Operating equipment, tools, and processing machinery safely
Conducting inspections, maintenance checks, and basic repairs
Delivering, picking up, and loading waste containers for clients
Maintaining accurate waste and recycling documentation
Supporting on-site project execution and emergency response when needed
Actively participating in safety meetings and promoting SECURE’s strong safety culture

✅ Skills & Qualifications

1–2 years of General Labour experience (waste management experience is an asset)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Commitment to safety-first practices
Physically fit – able to lift, move heavy containers, and work outdoors in varying weather
Team player with a strong work ethic
Skid steer experience is considered an asset
