💼 About the Role

As a Cruise Ship Nurse, you’ll be a vital member of the onboard medical team, working closely with the Staff Captain, Senior Doctor, and Doctor to provide top-notch medical care for both guests and crew. This isn’t just a nursing job—it’s a leadership role in emergency preparedness, outbreak prevention, and shipboard health management.

You’ll rotate between hands-on patient care, administrative duties, and safety training, ensuring the ship runs smoothly and safely.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Provide emergency and routine medical services for guests and crew.
Maintain illness logs, medical notes, and crew medical files.
Assist in outbreak prevention and illness reporting.
Perform Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) when required.
Lead Code Alpha (medical emergency) procedures.
Organize and train stretcher teams during fire and lifeboat drills.
Perform water quality testing and monitor public health safety standards.
Keep accurate narcotic counts and manage medical equipment.
Prepare accident and injury reports for safety committees.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or foreign equivalent) 🎓
Valid nursing license (State/Province of origin)
ACLS Certification (required)

TWIC Card (preferred)
Minimum 3 years post-graduate clinical experience
ICU, ER, or CCU experience (at least 3 years)
Strong English communication skills
