Autobooks is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead development of its bill payment platform for consumers and small businesses, along with internal tools that support secure payment processing. This role is best suited for engineers who enjoy ownership, independence, and delivering high-quality user experiences.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work as a manager-of-one, owning features from design to production with minimal technical guidance. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers while leading architecture and design decisions within short, focused delivery cycles.
Projects typically run 2–6 weeks, allowing teams to stay focused and ship real value quickly.
Technical Experience
Strong candidates usually have 7–10 years of programming experience and hands-on knowledge of modern web technologies, including:
