What You’ll Do
Your main responsibilities will include:

Greeting guests and providing a high level of customer service

Collecting admission fees and processing cash transactions

Selling memberships and reconciling cash at the end of your shift

Answering customer questions and sharing information about the zoo

Performing other duties as assigned to ensure smooth zoo operations

Who Zoo Boise is Looking For
Zoo Boise seeks individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, and love working with people. Ideal candidates should:

Be 16 years or older

Have experience in customer service and handling cash (six months preferred)

Possess basic math skills and the ability to perform computations quickly and accurately

No previous zoo experience is required—Zoo Boise provides guidance to ensure you succeed in your role.
Physical and Work Environment
This position involves both indoor and outdoor work, sometimes in varying weather conditions. While performing duties, you may need to:

Stand, walk, sit, reach, and grasp for extended periods

Lift or carry up to 20 pounds occasionally

Use hand/finger dexterity for cash handling and ticket processing
