About the Role
The Director of Professional Services at Naviant combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight. You will guide delivery across time and materials, fixed fee, and managed services models, ensuring quality execution, resource optimization, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will oversee project managers (PMs) and engagement managers (EMs), establish operational standards, and partner with sales and technical leadership to ensure effective staffing and deal support.
Key Responsibilities
First 30 Days: Getting Grounded

Build relationships with PMs, EMs, sales, and technical leadership

Assess current engagement structures and workflows

Review resource allocation practices and begin staffing strategy development

Participate in Monday.com deployment for workflow management
Within 60 Days: Taking Ownership

Standardize operational processes, including project intake, quoting, SOW creation, and reporting

Implement resource management processes for effective allocation

Provide oversight and mentorship to PMs and EMs

Partner with sales and technical leaders on staffing priorities and deal structuring
90 Days and Beyond: Driving Impact

Serve as the central point for resource management and staffing optimization

Maintain oversight of all engagements, providing strategic guidance without running projects directly

Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence

Support organizational growth through refining delivery practices and operational processes

Engagement Delivery & Quality Oversight: Ensure high-quality customer engagement delivery, timeliness, and satisfaction.

Resource Management & Staffing Strategy: Optimize staffing for active and future engagements, balancing managed services and time & materials projects.

Operational Standards & Process Optimization: Establish and maintain processes for intake, quoting, reporting, and execution.

Customer-Facing Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting solution design and long-term relationships.

Technology-Enabled Workflow Management: Use tools like Monday.com to streamline workflows and improve visibility.
Required Skills & Experience
