🧹 About the Role

As an Environmental Services Worker–Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that both resident suites and common areas are clean, safe, and comfortable.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in line with company and regulatory standards.
Following health, safety, and compliance procedures including the Retirement Homes Act, Ontario Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Handling laundry and housekeeping tasks with attention to detail and care.
Respecting confidentiality and demonstrating compassion, courtesy, and professionalism toward residents and visitors.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the overall well-being of residents.

✅ Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED required.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and handle tasks efficiently.
Team-oriented with problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Must complete a Police Records Check and provide documentation for tuberculosis clearance.
