About the Role

As a Reporter at PEI Group, you’ll dive deep into the world of private equity, reporting on topics such as:

Fundraising trends
Capital allocation
Governance and LP relations
Regulatory issues impacting firms

This role is ideal for a journalist who thrives on uncovering stories that matter to investment professionals. You’ll write breaking news, long-form features, and opinion columns, while also contributing to podcasts, newsletters, and industry conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a strong network of private equity sources (firms, investors, consultants, lawyers).
File multiple news stories and opinion pieces weekly, plus longer features.
Produce accurate, fact-checked, and well-structured copy ready for edit.
Participate in podcasts, newsletters, and occasionally moderate panels.
Attend industry events and report back with insights.
Uphold journalistic ethics and integrity at every stage.

About You

PEI Group is seeking a journalist who is:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism or related field.
